Haydee Medrano OTR, MOT, CBS

Haydee is our bilingual pelvic floor occupational therapist who was drawn to this field after experiencing her own pelvic floor dysfunction during pregnancy and postpartum. Despite being told the issues were a normal part of pregnancy, she knew there was more to be done, especially after continuing to experience pelvic pain postpartum. Haydee is dedicated to teaching women to be in tune with their bodies and helping them navigate the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Haydee earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas. Additionally she has completed post graduate training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, myofascial release techniques, and is a certified breastfeeding specialist. Her professional background includes experience in oncology, neurology, and she continues to treat pediatrics through her own infant and maternal occupational therapy practice.

Outside of work, Haydee is a wife and mother to a sassy three-year-old, and their sweet dogs named Teddie & Charlie. She enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Rio Grande Valley (her hometown), drinking coffee, watching dance and dating reality TV shows, and exploring new local restaurants. She is excited to get to know you and support you on your pelvic floor healing journey!
